Zeek, I remember this one so well when you posted it on another site, :)and it is still good as ever. Catchy as can be!! Great sound on the music, and you sound good singing as well.

You gotta get a partner whose name is "Hyde" though.

This is well done, sounds good and right up the contemporary country aisle. Are you in a networking position to co-write with performing artists or to pitch. It definitely has a nice commercial sound (and I consider that positive!).
The vocals are good, but you may want to find a "great" singer if you go the pitching route.

I would never put my vocal out there for pitching purposes! I do have a co-writer. We do songs less than we do 30 second to 2 minute pieces for TV/Film/Commercials, etc. Already landed 2 pieces. Thanks for the listen.

Hi Zeek, This is the last song I’m resurrecting from the pages of our history. You give so much to this forum; you are ALWAYS honest even when we don’t like it, lol. I for one have come to appreciate that as I’m sure others have too. When I see your name on one of my post I know I’m going to get the truth, the cold hard truth! Thank You for that. This song sounds great! I did notice the rhyme scheme changes in the third verse from the 1st two lines rhyming to the last two lines rhyming. It’s not a big deal listening to the song but when I read the lyric I notice it. Really that’s the only thing I can find to nitpick, I tried too, lol!! I love the chorus and I think you have a great hook/title. Dottie

Great great tune! Super melody, etc. It's a stuck in my head kind of thing, but in a good way. If I had to critique something, I'd say the vocal tuning could be fixed up in some places. But I'm not sure it's that big a deal. I suppose the fact that I wanted to listen to it several times is a good sign  Congrats; I wish I had written it.

That really is catchy, Zeek. I love the chorus, great lyric there and that guitar riff kills. Only nit is that there were a couple of places in the verses I was expecting a rhyme and didn't hear it. Hard to be more exact without the lyric in front of me. This does sound like it has hit potential to me. Very cool.... Scott
