Ooo, ooo, I got one! Slowly but surely being turned into a music video, too. Sedona Marie on flute (since Krishna played the flute), and "Rockin' Dr. Tom" Tracy on lead sitar.
Where, Colin? I don't see a "markup" option anywhere, either on JPF or on Soundclick. And when I paste the "single song widget" over from Soundclick I get text--like what's under the "thingie" heading above. How do I change that?
Ok, I can't even try to sing now, head still in bucket....but maybe I can use a song I wrote and Heather is doing the vocals/guitar on it...if I could sing right now I'd be doing this....hope this will work on this one till maybe I can try and sing again..tks glyn

Colin, I do click "reply" rather than using the Bottom Box--and it makes no difference. Apparently HTML is not an option, and I don't know why. I presume it's the lack of HTML-ishness that makes my "thingie" text rather than, well, a real thingie. "UBBCode" is an option, and I have that checked. But it doesn't help.
I think Colin is right. I don't have the HTML enabled when I click REPLY either to be able to embed my players myself in my posts.....
This one's an old one (I recorded this about two weeks ago) but here's my contribution to the Color My World week. It's about the only Coldplay song I kind of like.
Wow, Ive been gone a long time. Not so long actually but as I try and go back and listen to you all's incredible music, it seems like a long time, so please forgive me if I don't comment on them all.
You all have some amazing songs! My time is so limited right now thru the holidays that I'll do the best I
I do love this thread THANK YOU LINDA!
I do fawm and the 50/90 every year. This song is about color, and was a 50/ 90 collab with Robert Taylor and his awesome sound!
I remember my fading bruises from my 30 year marriage! You really portrayed this side of life emotionally!
My husband was so insanely jealous that I couldn't go out for coffee with even female friends or they must have been my lesbion lovers. He was so controlling and so pathetic, but I have a great marriage now and I'm happy!!
I really lve this song and love how you told this story!
OMG Glyn I was gone for a while and did check in once in a while and found you were gone for as few days after been in the hospital... You girl.... are soooooo loved around here!!
Glad to see you all posting - I've been away from the computer completely! My health is returning - which is GREAT!!! but also means I need to spend more time away than online...
So I will catch up these listens soon as I can but it's great to come in and see everyone participating!
And Glyn... so sad to hear the nausea's still with you and YES that post is just fine... you wrote the song... that works! GET WELL SOON!!!
Colin - thx for the help tech-wise - we have discovered some of us do not have the "HTML enable" option in the browser. I wonder if it is a moderator thing??? Hmmmm I'll have to check with Brian - he was in Europe when we all noticed -- last he said was, the options to embed have always been there but we weren't using them is all.
But... some clearly do not have it. There is a "pinned sticky" topic in this forum for Tech Help with this "party" with screen shots and links and stuff.... anyway... thank you for posting the players from folks' codes in my absence!
ok, here's another one I wrote and Heather is singing it, maybe in the next few weeks I'll be able to sing...hahaha, I never could in the first place, but hey, maybe i'll sound better....
Please post like this: TITLE ARTIST LINK EMBED PLAYER (if you can find the code, post it, even if you don't have HTML markup on your browser - I'll help out) POST ANY 2 ORIGINAL OR COVER SONGS (of your own!) YOU WANT per player. Thanks and have FUN FUN FUN!!

I'm still pretty much under the weather and only up for a small amount of time, but I'm listening to all the songs here and loving them...Geneva, Linda, Ann, Colin and Joe..great and I can't sing now, having a Lil' hard time breathing and not coughing..but maybe soon...
Sorry I'm late with this week's Challenge! Daughter getting married - MARCHING BAND Competition season - Holidays coming - ay yi yi! busy!
Here it is:
>... I hope you like it... Original creations are OK!!! so long as you tell us - how does it express a tribute to one of your deceased music heroes.
I chose this theme for 2 reasons... it is Thanksgiving Month (Canadian and US - I think?) ... and time to be grateful and think about count our blessings...
AND... Nov 24 this year marks the 20th year since MY personal music hero - Freddie Mercury - passed away.
That's Thanksgiving Day, in the US, this year.
Thanks... and enjoy... it shouldn't be too hard to find a song... If you have a song about a favorite guitar or something - that'll be OK too
BTW I have that full poster of "dead rock heroes" available for download.. I'll fetch up the link if anyone wants it (can't remember where I uploaded it, at the moment...)
OK - this is a brand new tribute to the Beatles. In other words, I wrote and recorded it in the style of the Beatles around the time of Magical Mystery Tour. I hope you recognize the style!
In memory of the great Hank Williams. I usually manage to perform it sometime around his birthday every year. (Poor fellow was a Virgo. That explains a lot.)

This is my Freddie tribute: He released this as one of his first singles under the name "Larry Lurex" - a Beach Boys cover. If you click into the link - the PAGE itself is full of pics and links to Freddie's version on YouTube of this song and stuff.
On the bridge - Freddie gave that to Brian for guitar solo... so I didn't know how the actual bridge went This is as good as this one gets - for now thanks!
oops I had Kashmir on "Members Only" - it's fixed now.
Boy without Glyn here this thing crashes!!! Get well soon Glyn! Of course I've been absent somewhat too. Dr's appt.s all day today. I feel 85, thank goodness I look a little younger!

Hey, thanks for playing, Bob, good to see you in here! Thanks for all the entries - can't wait to catch up! Been busy busy busy cleaning house & offline - but feeling better!
Contrary to possibly popular belief tho Dylan isn't dead, he's just 70 lol But it's OK Bob, it's your first play here so I'll gladly let your tribute stand - and you are quite right about Adele - she is FANTASTIC.
