Hello all, I am planning a trip to Portland in mid June and would like to play a couple open mics while I am there. I am thinking about Artichoke Cafe on Thursday and Twin Paradox Cafe on Monday. Have any of you folks ever played one of these two open mics? If so are they any good?
Does any one know of any other good open mics around Portland? I need an all ages type of place because my daughter will be coming with me.
Life's a journey, enjoy the ride.

I know this post is late for your trip, but maybe it will help someone else. Artichoke Cafe is my favorite open mic in Portland, but another really nice one is the Secret Garden, held on Tuesday evenings during the summer at the Portland Hostel NW -- http://www.nwportlandhostel.com/v1/ Both of these are for all ages.
