This song is just finished. Hope you like it. Instruments - Scott Watkins Vocal - Stan Loh Harmony - Elaine Schoendorf Mix - Tommy Hellsten http://www.soundclick.com/bands/page_songInfo.cfm?bandID=28328&songID=10829719Hey Ho Your MajestyCopyright Stanley Loh, December 18, 2010 Verse 1 Your green suit is made up like regal make-up, Your aura just fills the air, You smile in grandeur like Mona Lisa, With your skirt freely floating with flair, And blue damsel flies in palatial skies kiss your hair. CHORUS Hey ho, your majesty, you’re like a queen to me! Hey ho, your majesty, I like your company! Verse 2 Your golden eyelashes, with orange-lined sashes, Outstanding a clean cut above, For I’ve been collecting from nourishment springs, Sweet juices I pour on with love, You give tender sighs and do high fives with the doves. REPEAT CHORUS Verse 3 You flower with pleasure, my sweet, sweet treasure, No shower majestic enough, In time you’d be showing again by proving, The sweet cultivation of love, My queen you deserve the accolades of reserve. REPEAT CHORUS

Thoroughly enjoyable song Stan but the intro is almost a minute and a half long. You almost lost me. Glad I stayed with it and listened throughout.

Despite the long intro I really enjoyed this! The waltze tempo fits it perfectly! Very creative lyrics as well.

HiDee BrotherStan!
Yeah, had me waltzing-away, enjoyably-so..pondering whether MY little Majesty here'd appreciate a "Hey Ho"...(But I'll let her sleep in..it's been a long week..heh!)
Very Pleasant Vocals & Mix..."Hats-Off" to You & The Band/I didn't mind the long intro..enjoyed it all!
Good Luck with it, Amigo! Best Wishes & a Big Guy-Hug, OtherStan

Sweet song, Stan - I love the harmonies and it's a nice musical approach. Of course I'm a sucker for waltzes I'm of two minds on long intros - if I'm just cruising in the car and have music playing, I don't mind them at all. If I'm really focusing on a song though, they kinda lose me. Maybe make two versions - the "radio" version without a long inro and the "CD version" with one. Very pretty - with cool imagery! Scott

Hi Little Stevie ... You are right about the long intro. We wanted to create a front porch, evening sunset scene for this song. You can hear the rocking chair creaking away.
Glad you like it.
Stan.

Oh I love waltzes too. They don't play them often enough in dances any more. Went to a dance a couple of weeks ago...a friend's band was playing. They played a waltz that was between 3/4 and 6/8...so difficult to dance to! I digress....thanks for the comment. Scott Watkins plays a very traditional sound in his "folk-country" tracks. When I heard his Kentucky Waltz sung by Elaine, I knew I wanted them to do this. But he insisted I sang this...his voice would've been better (more raw, more traditional).
