Hi guys just finished a new demo let me know what you think! http://www.facebook.com/davegerardmusicOr http://soundcloud.com/davegerard/stablesP.s I'm going to try and get a manager in a few weeks so would be great if you could like my facebook page and help me look well supported! Dave In this town, and in these stables, in this field, or in this bed, There are marks, and there are tales from the times you left me dead, left me dead And the words slipped out, though I tried to let them go Now I fear and I love you, but I guess you'll never know Oh if I was brave enough for you, Oh then we would see this thing right through And the smoke it surrounds you and protects you from the fall but I lost the words to tell you that your beautiful thats all Oh if I was brave enough for you, Oh then we would see this thing right through Oh if I could Oh if I could

Wow, I like this one, it's timeless, it could have been played in any century past, and is enjoyable in the current times we share. Very nicely done.~~MFB III

Hey Dave,
Yep, it all works fine. Sorry not to give a critique, but it's all done, and done well. That was an enjoyable listen.
cheers, niteshift

Hey Dave--I'm a fan from the Muse as you know. This is stellar as usual. I'm come to expect nothing less from you. Be careful--you've raised the bar pretty high for yourself!
Great work.

Really outstanding work here. This brings to mind one of my favorite bands, a group out of Boston called Guster. Probably not a household name but they play a similar style. Best of luck with your music. You are a talented individual!

Dave, Great voice and sound. Folkie and rootsy. My only criticism is based on personal taste. I'm not a big fan of a banjo as a lead instrument. But if it's part of your sound and your fans love it, who am I to complain. Great job overall.

Dave,
Another sweet song! I really like your lyrics a lot because I think you leave a lot to be imagined BUT they all seem to flow and make sense at the same time. I always feel my lyrics are either too opaque or too transparent. Its hard to get the perfect mix but you seem to have the gift/talent.
Great Job!
Ricky

DAVE--
You have a unique song here--if you add anything, it could be (VIOLIN OR FIDDLE) in places--Need some PROGRAMMABLE EQ on Banjo and VOCALS--Probably some of that would go away, non-mp3 Compressed--
I like this one--
Later,
Mackie

Dang, everything you do is magical! There is no predicting the future since "big" fame is fickle -- but there is no reason that you can't find those "5,000" loyal fans that Brian, the JPF founder preaches about. These 5,000 fans will buy a CD every year, see you when you come to town, buy T-shirts and coffee mugs (ha, ha). If you have 5,000 loyal fans, you can have a great career. Keep doing what you are doing!
I watch that "Suffer No More" video at regular intervals -- fantastic.
