It seems Blogs are everywhere, I don't know if they are something new or old. In any case people use them them instead of websites. If you can't afford a website, this may be another route to go.
Another networking tool.
Do you have one one or thinking of getting one?

Blogs are something old; I remember they were big when I was in high school in the 00s. Almost all my friends had one on sites like Livejournal and whatnot as far as personal blogs go. The front of my official website at http://www.annfeld.com is a blog where I post various news items about my music or things that I want to talk about. I guess that one counts!

Yes. I've been doing "The Writer's Blog" for a while now. http://nakedspacehamsters.blogspot.com There appear to be a few readers (I have been particularly curious about the 29 people from Latvia--maybe I should do a concert there?). Joe

Nope, no songs about 3 cats and a dog. Got songs about dead dogs, though, and a dead cat, and other dead things--armadillos to zombie snails, in fact.
Every now and then I get the feeling I might have something worthwhile to contribute, but I get over it quickly.<g> I am here (and other places) to learn. I have a lot to learn.

Hi All:
I'm so old... I can remember when they called 'em "Newsletters!" In that regard, no... I don't have a "WeBlog" or "Blog." Who on God's good earth wants to hear what an old man thinks? (Despite my wealth of knowledge, double degree, executive experience and extreme humility... LOL!)
The problem I have with blogs are the same problems I have with "social networking." TIME! I'm running out of it. I try to spend as many hours each day writing or recording. Sometimes I have to do mundane things like figuring out how to get something to work at a website where I'm trying to post one of my remarkable renditions. Heck, I even had to learn how to make a video (with nothing but still photos... BORING!... but the music was to "die for"... LOL!)
Those of you who actually do have blogs... please forgive my irreverant attitude. It's not personal. I just don't have enough time to go around.

'Sokay, Dave. I wasn't writing my blog on the premise that anyone would read it. (I am pleased some people do, though. And I remain curious about those 29 people in Latvia. Are they expecting to learn English doing this?)
It is (and was) *practice writing*. An organized thought, at least once a week, roughly the same length each time. Keeps me experienced writing for space and writing for deadline--two things I use in a newspaper column I've been writing lately, too. And the skills are obviously transferable to songwriting.

I have a blog.
I started using it last year and have posted stuff there a couple of times since then. The last week or so I have stuck a lot of my lyrics there.
I use it for storage basically.
