As your Numerical "Opposite" (I, too, joined-up in 2001, tho when Brian merged my 2 Identities here..Long Story..the date got messed-up)..ya got My Sympathy.
By being ACTIVE Here, I've had Many a Co-Write Situation, made multitudinous New Friends All Over The Planet..even had a few trips to L.A. resulting from JPF Awards Shows. (Resulting in A Nice Big Hug from Susan Gibson..Handshake from Alan O'Day..bitta reuniting with John Brahaney..face-time with CDBaby's Founder {Whose Name I've just forgotten..sorry!}..several Co-s with L.A.Sessions Guitar-Guy Chuck Crowe (One's on his CD, one's been held by Clapton/recently sent to Gene Simmond's Manager by the guy-himself)..and..one lyric I penned AT the 2nd Awards Show is goin' on a Nat'ly-Distributed CD this year.
I say this not totally to brag, but to entice you to spend a bitta face-time here ON the Boards..Perfecting Your Craft..& see how far you CAN go...

Actually the first active date on the boards was January 1999. But we had a crash which caused most folks to have to re-register and we changed boards completely to this company which also reset dates on folks. My own date (as the actual first member) isn't even right. But what's in a date? The more surprising thing is you still have the same email address all these years later. I've had mine since 1993 when AOL gave me 5 free liftime accounts for some work I did for them... (which they took away 3 years later but that's another story). Back then AOL used to charge by the minute on line so it was a big deal. I used to host a Just Plain Folks chatroom on the music industry going back to 1996 or so... I didn't keep records so I can't even remember back then exactly.
You member number is a better idea of when you came in.. though folks like Stan who have been combined with other registrations take on the newest dates and numbers.

I remember the old "white place" that I believe had some issues. I came on about September 2000, and transferred to the new boards as #44 Long time ago now, and along time to be lurking
