Hi all, I have started a blog called The Red Curtain Review ( www.theredcurtainreview.com) and it's for all kinds of musical theatre: local, big shows, anywhere in the world, whatever is musical theatre. There are a number of posts up already: one about a new Irish musical Whiskey in the Jar, based on the song, and a few others. Plus I am starting my list of cast recordings to give an ear to. Check it out! Thanks Alan www.theredcurtainreview.com

Thanks Lynn. I do, have loved musicals since I was 16 or so when I first heard Chess, which I will be seeing in Dublin on Sat!!! Did you get a chance to listen to the song by Kerrigan and Lowdermilk on my blog? They are so good and I only found them over the weekend.

Hi Alan, thanks for keeping us up to date. I thought the Temple Grandin film was excellent as well. She should have won an Oscar for that.. but I think it was considered a TV movie so maybe she won an Emmy.

Hi Brian,
Claire Danes won an Emmy for her role (plus a few of the other actors as well!) in Temple Grandin, and it was regarded as a TV Movie. But amazing one. I will have to get it for my collection.

Hi, spidey. I hadn't visited this thread before. I'm glad to see you posted some love to Kerrigan and Lowdermilk. They both grew up around the "local theatre" where I met my wife; I've known the two of them for years, and have worked with their parents many times.
They're a very talented duo and we're all very proud of and excited for them!

Thanks I stumbled across their album and just loved the stuff on it. I would love to get across for their Samantha Brown show, will see but probably not likely I have been a little slack this week, but will get back to more posts, so keep tuning in. Cheers Alan
