I uploaded two videos-actually 1.5 videos- where I demo “The Word” off of Rubber Soul. The first video is me demonstrating the tune first on my ’69 P with DR High Beams and then with my buddy’s Duck Dunn Lakland with LaBella Deep Talkin’s. The amp is a SWR with a 1X15 cab and it’s setting were unchanged between the two demos. My buddy then made the second video (“The Word P & Dunn come together”) merging the two demos into one, switching between the two basses. The result is not only fun, but gives a clear comparison between both instruments and string, with the amp being constant. http://www.youtube.com/user/solowbassI hope that you invest 10 minutes and watch both… with headphones.
