So Polly said the other day, "Hey, your new avatar--you freakin' look like Katy Perry!!"
And I said, whoa, really?
I told my daughter that and she said, "Hm, I guess I can see it."
Then she watched Katy on SNL last week and FREAKED OUT. (well not completely, just a little)
She said her movements and expressions, some camera angles, were uncanny. A LOT like me.
Ha!! I'm still laughing.
Could this be good for my career? ROFL!!

I'm not too worried b/c typically when I ask people come in 10 yrs younger. haha

(that way if you think I look 63 you don't have to say it straight out)
(and if anyone thinks I look under 21, why, I won't know what to say but will presume you're lying so that I shall give you chocolate--well, that ain't happenin' -- pssh)
Me & my pals were talking today and figured out DUH, if Steven Tyler's born the same year as Robert Plant ONE of these men has def' had the ol' facelift done. They are both 62.
And it ain't Plant. LOL

I'm not sure if we have met before,if not,nice to meet you..You are a very pretty lady..Just a few days ago (before I saw this post),I noticed your picture on here(I was reading the MAB interview-great interview,by the way),and when I saw your photo I thought"Wow!!That lady could be Alanis Morrisette's twin sister,"and I happen to think that Alanis is much prettier that Katy..Katy is just too Betty Boopish...lol..anyway...just my two cents for what its worth..

Hi Michelle, and thank you! YES, I used to pass for a dead ringer for Alanis in her heyday. Teenagers would stop me at the grocery counter with big huge eyes and go, "Did you know you look just like Alanis Morissette?" Took a few times before I looked up her picture and went "OK, cool!!"  Fair to say both are marketable faces right? All right all right Tom, Roy. Unfair question. It's not QUITE as bad as "Do I look fat?" LOL I'm usually guessed at 32. Wondering if THIS photo looks more or less than 30. And that's not my age. ROFL. Not asking for emotional backup (or pain!) either -- asking "Do I Look Marketable." IE. If I send out a press kit/demo CD anywhere will they take one look and go "eh, too old, pass" or give me a chance and listen. I haven't tried yet. Linda

I Googled Katy Perry..to hear some of her hits besides "Fireworks"..which is EVERYWHERE at the moment.
Hmm..First CD was an all-Gospel Fizzler, back in 2001...She worked under Alanis' Producer, several years..on her Earlier Pop Ventures. Definitely a Neo-Madonna..in the Makin'.
You & She are Both Good Singers..She seems Hell-bent on cutting "Shockers" to get that all-needed-Notoriety..at least in Earlier CDs..which included "Ur So Gay", "I Kissed a Girl", & "Peacock"...& she's already done the Nude CD Cover route, too...
