I didn't get any new amp/instrument/software/pedal or anything like that. I did get a car stereo iPod kit so I can listen to my iPod Touch in my car, though, and that's sorta music related.
Anyone get any cool music stuff this year?

No, not this year. I often get myself a nice music related present around this time of the year, like the Gretsch Country Club I got myself about five years ago and the Ampeg V4 I got myself about three years ago, but nothing this year.

I received a bottle of lemon grass oil for Xmas. Good for the arthritis in my hands. Which is very good for my piano playing. Which is why it's a music related gift. What better gift than to spark a little life back into these old paws. John

Neil Young and Gorillaz - that about runs the gamut. Eclectic tastes for sure!
I forgot - I did get one other music related present - I got a guitar t-shirt from my mom.

Inquiring minds want to know - what kind of guitar? Details, details! For those of us who live vicariously through other musicians... I can only afford to look at PICTURES of new guitars, and I can barely afford to do that.

I got myself a USB to MIDI cable (to drive sounds in my laptop) and I created a musical gift for all my friends. It's a free download of O Holy Night at my website below. Let me know how you like it.
