Hi Louis, Great tunesmithing as usual. Moving tribute to your friends. "You owe me five bucks" great line that gives the listener a mood break. Only a craftsman can do this kind of touch.

Hi Louis, Oh great! Now I have another Louis favorite! This is something a lot of us can relate to the older we get. "We used to kid around alot made a bet who'd be the 1st to drop you owe me five bucks" That is really good, to be able to include some subtle humor in what could be such a serious matter. Kind of like life. Well done. Ricki

Louis My it's been a while since I checked on one of your songs. This song gave me smiles, goose bumps, and tears.
I just did a song "The Fat Lady's Sung" I wrote it from the position of the singer being a friend of the person passing but it was really about me and my Younger Brother. I couldn't write it as a brother. I tried but couldn't do it.
This has some lines in it that I would have put in my song had I went that direction.
This brought a tear. It brought back a memory of me and my brother sitting in a boat fishing. We had a little banter about this very thing. We used to kid around alot made a bet who'd be the 1st to drop you owe me five bucks
Thanks for this one. I will print it and keep it if you don't mind.

Hi Bill, yeah the closer you are to the story the harder the write, that's for sure. I'd love you to download a copy for yourself. I'm just glad you like it

Nice, Louis - perfect delivery. Just the way a guy would think about it - though few would be able to write it. That actually sums up many of your songs - they are written in such a way that people think, "yeah, that's what I would have written - if I could write" Scott

Louis,
This is a heartfelt song that brings a mixture of emotions...very relatable.
Enjoyed it!

Thanks Steve, bittersweet. That's a word chock full of life. I've have to meditate on it Scott, I probably should lower the key to Ab or something Thank you Kristi Rick, thanks man, yeah I was kindof stunned. One of them was only 57.

Howdy, Louis. Sorry to hear about your friends. I haven't been around in a while but I seem to recall that you daughter was ill a while back. I hope she is doing well now. I kept her in my prayers.

Went back and re-recorded it in a lower key. Just couldn't hit that high note. Think it's better now, slowed it down a notch too.

Hi Louis,
Let me express my deepest sympathy for the loss of your friends. I really enjoyed listening to the song, and I especially liked the line 'you owe me 5 bucks.' This one really makes us think and I'm sure many of us can relate to this song. Good job!

Hey Louis...
Another great write...you always have a way of peelin that onion right to the core...you put the perfect amount of sentiment in but let the listener take a breather on the 5 buck line.
Always a pleasure to hear..
