Jules Doborowoski one of our long time Tampa Bay songwriter's has lost his battle with cancer. Jules won our minds and our hearts with his easy going manner and great songs. Jules son Joe did a great job taking care of his dad during his illness. Our hearts go out to Jules family. Arrangements are pending.

Love, Prayers & Rest In Peace Our Friend April 7, 2010 Today we lost a wonderful & talented man and musician, Jules Dobrowolski. He is no longer suffering and has passed on to a better place for his kind and generous spirit. The music community of Tampa Bay will miss him, of course, but we will remember his smile and his caring ways... not to mention his songs we love to hear. Our condolences to his family and dearest friends and JPF family. Services have yet to be determined, but I shall post them as soon as I recieve word. Thank You, Ms.Goody The following information is found on Jules' myspace page: www.myspace.com/songster57 Jules is a published songwriter from Clearwater, Florida. He regularly performs throughout the Tampa Bay area. A graduate of the Seton Hall School of Law, his day job is mortgage lending. He is married and has four children. His oldest son is the trombone player for "The Know How" (a ska band out of Gainesville). Jules is an active member of the Nashville Songwriter's Association International and Just Plain Folks. He recently secured his first cut by a major Warner Bros. recording artist. His first C.D. entitled, "Just To Hear You Smile" is scheduled for release in August of '06. This week's music includes a set of Jules' music & will continue to be heard here at Mellow Melodies. There will be many of his songs played via the internet & community radio stations over the next few weeks, I'm sure. This was emailed to me by Jules' family & is now posted on the MellowMelodies site.
As some of you may have heard, Jules passed away yesterday afternoon after a long battle with cancer. He was at peace, at home, and surrounded by his family. He will be missed terribly.
A viewing will take place at Moss-Feaster Funeral Home on Belcher Road in Clearwater tomorrow, Friday April 9 between 5-8PM. A funeral will follow at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Largo at 12:30 PM Saturday April 10. There will be no burial, as Jules will be cremated. Please feel free to pass any of this information along to those who knew Jules.
A celebration of Jules' life will take place this summer, when things are not so hectic or rushed. Details will be arranged, but it will involve the things he loved: Music, friends, and family.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Gulfcoast Oncology Foundation. They are a wonderful organization that helped Jules and his family through some difficult times. They are a 501c3 charity; 100% of the donations are given to cancer patients
Thank you all of your love, support, thoughts, and prayers. Jules' email will also be checked regularly.
Thank you all, Pat, Joe, Tom, Dan, and Kathleen Dobrowolski
