It's the only network TV show that I watch on a continual basis. The players contracts are up, and they ran out of ideas. They are working on a movie, so don't look for Jack Bauer to get killed yet.

Oh Say it ain't so. It's the only show I really won't miss. I like Caprica too but losing 24 is tragic. Oh Woe is me.

Only about 8 hours left. Supposed to be lots of twists in the plot for the last season. You can tell they make it up as they go. Dana is now a terrorist. I bet they wrote that in.
Now former President Logan is back. I thought he got killed 2 seasons ago. Anybody can be killed in this show. They can't kill everybody, they have to make a movie. At least Jack Bauer and Chloe are still around for now.

Nah, Dana was planned from the get-go. Check this out: she made a deal and got clemency if she turned. Well, the deal won't cover the parole cop she killed. Don't say I didn't tell you so.

I think Dana's deal also included that President Hassan be returned alive, so her deal is shot anyway. We'll see what happens tonight.

Eight hours isn't enough time for the parole officer to start reeking up the vents

Well Jack stole another helicoptor. He seems to do that every season.

I think the parole officer just played possom and is biding his time to crawl out of the hiding spot. Shame about Renee Walker, but I think Logan is going to be a Bad guy for just a little bit and then redeem himself at the last moment. There is still an issuee about rogue weapons still available, right?

The finale is supposed to be bigger than ever, but that wasn't announced until after they announced that this is the last season. They were still filming the final episodes when the announcement was made. That's why I said that I think that they're making it up as they go. They didn't know that it was going to be cancelled when they started filming. I think that they had to make some changes from the original plot to bring on a dramatic ending for the last season.
Two twists that bring me to this conclusion:
Dana started out as an innocent victim of blackmail by her ex-boy friend who was a real scumbag and it made you feel sorry for her. Suddenly after the cancellation was announced, she killed the parole cop and was found out to be working with the terrorists (change in plot in my opinion).
They brought back former President Logan who Jack Bauer brought down three seasons ago and was thought to have been killed by his wife. I thought he was dead! Now Logan is convincing President Taylor to go against her morals for world peace, making her a bad guy now.
Logan will be the villain again. His plan hasn't been unveiled yet. The rouge weapons that Ms. Goody mentioned were supposedly secured by the US, but I look for them to come back into play. It'll come down to Bauer and Logan in the end.

I watched the show for a while but my disbelief became real hard to suspend and I quit.

Lee, I know that it's a stretch from reality but that's Hollywood. What drew me to the show is the serial or "cliffhanger" aspect of the show. I have to sit through commercials for fear that I might miss something, as it is supposedly happening in real time.
I'm a hard person to entertain, especially TV shows. I'm glad that I can still be entertained by a network TV show. Besides this show, I've pretty much given up on everything else except old westerns.

OK folks, Three hours left. Jack killed Dana, found the "ruskie" that assassinated Renee, cut the chip out of his stomach to find out that Logan (which we all knew) is the bad guy. It's all down to Bauer and Logan. President Taylor seems to be screwed either way. God help this Country.

Imax, Imax, Imax, Imax!
Wouldn't that be cool?!
3D too!
It would be like we're all IN that CTU Center, and all the other scenes!
Think of the lines showing up for all the Imax theaters if they did it that way! Would be another Jaws.
We'll see how smart they are.

Thanks Mike and John. If I'm not wrong, they never pronounced Logan dead in the finale. They were still working on him after he shot himself. Chances are that he'll show up in the movie. Bauer's arch enemy. Glad Chloe made it through. There are lots of characters from past seasons who can come back for the movie.
