"Folk the only genre might be where something like that get away with you might."  I thought the Yoda speech made it sound more old timey because it lays right into the lyrics. It doesn't come across as a device just to get a rhyme. Anyway, have at the gold/heart thing if you really want to.  Seems like I have more metaphors hanging around than I have pockets to keep them in, and nothing's really suggesting itself to me about how to write that one.

It is true that the rhyme works the way I have it. Funny thing is though that if I sing "Until I ran out of steam" even anticipating in my head that the next line will rhyme with "steam", I don't like it as much  Yeah, being familiar with the work you've posted here, I don't doubt you have a few metaphors lying around.
