I'm intereste in advice on looping vocals on stage, that means using a pedal or software to make loops, sing one part and then sing harmonies over and then over to creat a choir effect as a fx in a moment overlaying. I've seen these with some instrumentalists and I wondered what kind of pedal or affordable options and advices you recommend

You need something like a T.C. Helicon XL processor. These are the Rolls Royce of FX units There are many models to choose from depending on your exact application...I have a XL pro and it is a superb product though maybe a bit pricey compared to some other FX units. Here is a link to their site. I would think the model I have linked to would be near what you may want. http://www.tc-helicon.com/voicelive2.asp#

I have a Digitech JamMan, its a looping device. Great practice tool. Live? I saw a dude once who tried and failed miserably. I had heard him use it once before and everything worked for him. That second time, things didn't go as planned.
