Hi Folks,
Holiday's are gearing up and most people are going into hibernation of one type or another. The music industry often slows down to a crawl and many businesses seem to go into cruise control. I am just starting to feel like kicking into high gear however after a bit of a breather following the touring and awards stuff. I have several newsletters backed up and ready to send (just need to find some other current events to include) and I am itching to start planning some 2010 JPF Roadtrips.
We've visited and met with members in 48 US States. We've done JPF Showcases in 41 States (plus DC plus 3 Canadian Provinces). We've also visited 18 additional countries meeting with members. In 2010 I am considering finally doing showcases in the remaining 9 US States and possibly international trips to either:
Japan & Taiwan Croatia, Greece, Turkey & Egypt Peru, Chile, Easter Islands & Galapagos Island (I'd LOVE to have a JPF showcase in the most remote place on Earth, the Easter Islands!).
Or perhaps a more epic Baltic Sea tour:
Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Russia, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Germany and our third attempts at the Netherlands.
In addition, we may start the 2010 JPF Music Awards up if we are able to successfully close a new partnership deal. If not, then we will likely stay on our 2 year process schedule instead and focus on touring and our JPF Chapter system in 2010.
I am looking forward to seeing some of you out on the road!
So what are your plans for 2010?
Brian

Wow Brian. Just reading your itinery has knackered me.
I plan to make at least three new music videos. I do them more for personal satisfaction than media attraction. Sounds like a song rhyme there.
Anyway, may you and your family have a great Christmas and a great new year.
God Bless Roy

Wow, sounds like a dream! The Baltic tour would be neat!
Travelling this year? ...I hope to get to Nashville in the spring (just to say I've been) and I always go to California in November for the Rally. Other than that, I plan to hunker down and write a boatload of music, look after my health, and stay in touch with family/friends.
All the best to you and yours, Brian!

I need to make it out to the Rally. If we get back on track we will probably move the awards back out to LA and perhaps the weekend before or after the TAXI Road Rally as we used to so we can have folks attend both. It's been too long since I was at the Rally after going to 5 straight.

Get my health back in order, get my songs out to more music libraries, get more vids up on youtube, write some new songs {of course!} and get back to Nashville. Oh yeah..and get back to Put In Bay without being jumped by a gang of thugs, and back to Memphis without a blood clot and heart attack!
