Hey Bob, Been mostly lurking these days, letting the arm heal....but there's nothin' wrong with my EYES....and I believe I see a birthday cake floatin' by yer head! So Happy Day & Night to you!!! Saw a funny card today: an old geezer with b'day hat on, cake with candles in front of him. "I wish I wasn't an old man anymore" he creaks, then blows out the candles. Big poof of smoke, it clears, and in his place is an old lady!! And she is saying "Son-of-a....." Ah well. You don't fall into either of those two categories, but hoped you got a little chuckle anyway. Take care, and again, Happy Birthday! Beth the re-busted (that isn't what it sounds like!!  )

Damn, I can't sneak NOTHING past you folks!
Thanks, this particular one is kinda special since I ALMOST DIDN'T SEE IT! I won't take em' for granted anymore.
I'm doing fine,back to my regular schedule, and on lots of good meds! I'm going to be on blood thinners for at least 6 more months. [You'd think the whiskey would do the trick!}
The doc said I'll be clear to make long roadtrips again "soon"
It sucks that I had to postpone my appearence at songwriter night at The Commodore in Nashville tuesday, especially since MAB was performing too! Oh well. Thanks again for the B-day wishes, you all are the best!

I was on blood thinners - for almost a year - after straining an ankle. Had to wear special socks too. Not much fun, especially in the summer. Well, everything's ok now. I had to quit smoking too, doesn't matter, I just drink more beer and coffee than I used to do, lol.
