I lasted about 20 seconds on that one -- the frenetic cutting and scene changing was making me dizzy (LOL!).

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sxYe3kngXtgThis is JD Souther on a song he wrote for Linda Ronstadt, Silver Blue. The song itself is absolutely beautiful, the video part is a homemade slide show someone put together and then slapped on YouTube. Doesn't do much for the song. It's just JD on acoustic guitar, and a jazz player named Stanley Clarke on upright bass. If you've never heard this arrangement (with bass solo that will blow your doors) you've got to give this a listen. As a video it's not much, but the music will flat freak you out. I know what you were looking for with this post, and the video part won't win any awards. But if ever a song could render a slide show immaterial, this is it.
Peace, Steve

These are mine.. at the moment. The first is a remebrance song. Allthough I have my own song and video on this subject, this really moved me.I wish it was mine lol. 'A Pittance of Time' by Terry Kelly 1999 'Talking Circles' My wife Helen wrote the song and I made the video. Our grandchildren acted as the aliens. Since this has been put on the internet it has been translated into Italian - Hindi - Russian - Spanish - Mandarin as well as the original English. Japanese is on the way. I actually love the russian version. Something about the tone of the singer. Russian version here is the link to the English version (in case you want to hear it. English Version I hope that you enjoy Roy

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BieVgyrfglQMy ALL TIME FAVE...Learn to Fly- Foo Fighters! GENIUS! OMG! Silver Blue knocked my socks off and just melted me! Bob, LOL, I love ALL of your stuff...I'll be there Sunday, ya big star you! Big Jim, loved that band, great sound! Scott, ain't it funny how Bob Dylan can't keep up with his own lyrics? Just kidding, he's brilliant! The Cyndi Lauper vid was fun, she was so creative with her vids. The Veterans one was moving...one of my friends played in a band {Darryl Worley) who wrote a song called "Have You Forgotten" about 9/11. I think that's the most moving song about the veterans we still have out there that I ever heard. Tom, the vid was a lil' too busy for me, but I liked the sound of the song.

I had to add one more (and that's exercising RESTRAINT): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Msb-j4H1ZEIHere's the greatest love song ever written, performed by one of the greatest artists of our time, Bonnie Raitt with Allison Krauss. Okay, I promise I'll stop now! I'm afraid the Youtube Police will come knocking on my door (you people have NO IDEA how many music videos I watch!)

Ok, I'll play. This is my current favorite music video (that's only about 16 years old). Of course, my choice may change a half hour from now. It's by a group out of the Great White North called Blue Rodeo. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=crfpN3n8lR0

Although the music is one of mine and Buddy's composition, this music video was done for us as a surprise gift. Very cool of the music video hobbyist, Joey Redfish. He was a neighbor of our friend, Ron, who gave Joe our CD of this song. A few days later, Ron told us to go meet him upstairs at his apartment and see what he has for us. Here is what we saw put to our music. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Z3k1tEKRb8This next one ties for my favorite. It's Iggy's music video he did for JPF. The song "It's You" is one that our band plays. Mike Caro produced and recorded the song. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RJ9COh8Omek

Here's something for Halloween. I regret to admit that I spent countless hours dancing mindlessly to this in college...I think Peter Murphy should get some bonus points for singing while hanging upside down. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nKd5w2B8ZG0&feature=related

Kevin, I LOVE that vid, thank you! BTW, you look a lot like the singer! Kim, all your vids were fun! It's so cool your friend wrote "My Poor Ole Heart" for Allison Krauss, I love that song! John, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your band! I wish I lived closer so's I could see you guys. "It's You" was great...I recognized just about all the members featured. Mike did a GREAT job on lead guitar, production and recording. Magne, Elvis will ALWAYS be The King! I was just praying he wouldn't fall off of the back of that truck! Wendy, kewl vid...kind of goth/wave. The singer and guitar player were really cute. You know when you hang upside down and nothing sags, it's all good! Okay, I promised not to post another vid...but...I LIED! I couldn't help it, this one just kicks ass (no, it's NOT the Donnas): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rm__hVQXnQo

Hey there Polly, I'm with you on that one. CLASSIC!! I've seen Bonnie like a million times in concert, and she just gets better and better. As for other faves, I'm like you, I have a ton. But two that stick out are these -- SO HEARTFELT!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6tOQsswD4Tcand http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ffJSu5V4yAc(Gosh, I'm such a sap! ) Still, a neat thread idea Tom....thanks for asking. My all-time favorite is probably "Land of Confusion" by Genesis. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oepXF2B5NK4The people behind that video earned their pay.
