I've always been attracted to "Dancing Food" signs; you know what I mean, personified hot dogs, hamburgers etc. Up here in New England we see a lot of lobsters in various human dress and pose. Over the years I've amassed quite a collection but this dancing clam is probably the most intriguing and somewhat disturbing!

That's weird, Unc. An attention getter though, which I suspect is the point. I don't know much about sea creatures - what is that black thing hanging out of it's mouth? Something tells me this is a really stupid question. Scott

That's called a siphon. It's the part that sticks up out of the sand and siphons food out of the water. I love the sneakers!
