Riveting Riffs Magazine just published an interview with co-producer / co-playwright Roger Penycate and his collaborator Rick Jones formerly of the rock band Meal Ticket, as they combined to script and produce the musical Laughing Daughter which will open Sept 3rd in Maryland. Starring in the production are; noted actress Crystal Mosser, Chief Natalie Proctor, KJ Jacks and Draper Carter. The musical has romance, heartbreak and intrigue, as the main characters are a singer / songwriter waiting for his big break, a young Native American Indian woman at the beginning of her music career and a woman you just cannot figure out, Jolene. You can read the interview here http://www.rivetingriffs.com/laughing_daughter.htm
