VEry yodaish title but its unique and it give a readers some kind of curiosity when they read it.

The whole idea is universal it can apply to all folks. It can be for lovers, for mother daughter POV, it can be a gospel too.

COngratulation to this one. NO nits here to me this is a perfect lyrics.

BTW, Ive sent the mp3 of our collaboration. Just PM for any revision. I was busy for the past days. The swine flu is here in fact I saw alot of suspected patient but I decided to hide the truth and advice them to limit human contact to limit the spread.
In fact got some cough and body pain for the last days Im feling alitle better now.

Well I hope you don't mind me dropping by with my "dizzy blonde" viewpoint (lol) but as usual I LOVE the way you write and I actually had a melody/vocal idea for the song but am handicapped by lack of readily available recording equipment. Just wanted to say, GOOD JOB! I especially liked the line:

you were my guiding star

I love the contrast of that verse.

this is very well done with a nice simple hook. Hopefully "Still The One" by whomever with the hook "you're still the one who... does this and that" wouldn't interfere in people's minds with yours. It's really good but may be too close to an oldie still getting airplay. Music and genre couold make a difference.

Another good write there Michelle. I read through it a couple of times and it seems like you are hitting the target that you wanted for this.

Of course, I need to find at least one potential "nit" (LOL!). I noticed that you used "so far" in verse 2, and then you use that phrase in the chorus. If the title was "So Far", then maybe it would be better, but since it is not, maybe you should look for a re-wording in the verse (or the chorus).

Thanks for stopping by.Its funny that you mention that ,because when I went back to these lyrics,trying to come up with some kind of melody,a melody very similar to that Shania Twain song kept coming to mind.Hopefully I can come up with something entirely different so that any similarities in subject matter would go unnoticed,because it was definitely not intended.Thank you so much for listening and taking time to comment.

I get a sense that this is based on real songwriting craft. Kudos to you.

Only stopper for consideration for me was the repetition of the title on verse 4.. not sure that'll do..

Many favourite lines, trying to pick one must be from the very well written bridge (nice to see the attention you gave that):
