I've just built a new home studio, and am looking for someone very good with Pro Tools (I just have Pro Tools LE with Mbox w/Firewire, on a PC), whom I would PAY to help me install, set up, give me a "crash course" (I have the insructional DVD's, but they seem outdated, already), and set up a couple of recording templates for me. I'm hoping this will greatly decrease my learning curve time! Must be non-smoking, knowledgeable, and live (hopefully) within 100 miles from Tahlequah, Oklahoma. That's 60 miles EAST of TULSA, or about 65 miles WEST of Fayetteville or Ft. Smith, Arkansas. Also, about 2 hours SOUTH of Joplin, MO. Count on a full day's work, with good pay plus lunch included. Email me for details and your experience if interested and available BEFORE JULY 15th but asap. Becky Wright bwsongs@sbcglobal.net www.beckywrightsongs.com

Hi Becky I am sure Moker knows his stuff-we have many experienced technical wizards in JPF...but if you feel you need IN PERSON help for setting it all up I suggest you try the Musicians section of Craigslist.com for the state of Oklahoma.......its a free internet bulletin board with links in all states and major cities......just go to the major oklahoma city near you-then the Musicians box and tell em what ya need......am sure you will find qualified people looking to make a few bucks setting it up for you......... heres the link for OKLAHOMA CRAIGLIST best of luck Becky http://geo.craigslist.org/iso/us/okTom

You might also call around to local studios... good ones... as more than likely they use pro tools and perhaps one of the studio guys could come to you for a session. Also... the AES might be able to steer you to a local person... http://www.aes.org/HOpe this helps!

"Parents are notorious for telling you not to do something, but not telling you WHAT to do instead. So here are my thoughts. Don't bite the hand that feeds you, give it a manicure. Don't burn your bridges, go out and build more! And of course, Don't run with Scissors, use them to cut out your press clippings!" -Brian Austin Whitney
