NEED VOLUNTEERS!!! HELP
Body: Seven people so far
Sunday March 8th 12-9pm
We will need Three Door People.
One stationed in Front.
One Stationed in Back,
One person will Help Go from Door to Door to give people a break.
1 Cashier.
1 Person to run the Silent Auction.
2 People to help coordinate the changing of Acts on the Stage.
We only have 10 minutes between Acts!!

Musical benefit for Kevin Thomas: Many of the bay area's best local musicians will perform to raise money for a fellow musician who suffered a debilitating stroke recently. The lineup starts at noon and runs into the evening, with different musicians taking the stage every half hour at Ringside Cafe, 2742 Fourth St. N, St. Petersburg. $10 donation. Call (727) 367-3592.

Hello Fellow Songwriter's, Artists, and Patrons of the Tampa Bay Music
Community,
I am attaching information concerning the upcoming musical benefit for
Kevin Thomas, our brother in song who has been recently stricken with a
stroke.
I have included copies of my communications with Mike Deeson, the emmy award
winning newscaster from Channel 10 News. Mike is a good friend, and
co-writer of
mine. He is also a fine songwriter and avid supporter of our music community
through his involvement with NSAI (Nashville Songwriters Assn.
International).
Mike is going to attempt to have Channel 10 cover the event. In addition to
helping to make Kevin's benefit a success. I would also like to use this
exposure to alert the public to the the fine volunteer and charitable work
that you, our musical family of Tampa Bay have provided over the years (not
just
to our own, but also to numerous worthwile causes).
With the recent cutback in the charitable contribution deduction many
charities will be needing to sponsor more fundraising events. And while most
of
us legitimtely fit the role of starving artists, we can all benefit from the
additional exposure. More importantly, it gives us an opportunity to share
our
gift while helping those truly in need. A call by you to Channel 10 might
help
guarantee coverage of Kevin's event.
I have been a beneficiary of your generosity and kindness. I believe that
songwriters and artists are a unique breed, and I am proud to be part of
this
family. I hope to seee all of you on Sunday.

It was pretty amazing,
Kevin was able to come and he was all smiles!
which made our smiles even bigger!
Do'nt know what the official tally was , but whatever it is, It will surely help
