once upon a time there was a gal who lived in Texas on a farm. Her name was Mary. She raised sheep for the wool and mutton. One day while she was washing and dyeing some of her bedsheets the most beautifull shade of purple one of the lambs fell into the washtub where the dye was.She tried her best to remove the dye but it was useless.A traveling salesman came by to try sell her some of his wares and noticed the purple lamb in the pasture, well he was enthused to say the least and a idea came to him.He knocked on the door and asked about buying this lamb when she tried to explain how it came to be he raised his offer , she finally gave in and sold him the lamb said if she had any more colored lambs he would buy them all, so Mary started dyeing each one and to this day that was how Mary became the biggest lamb dyer in Texas.
