I'm here to say goodbye as we sit and watch as this blue sky caves in.
As it gives way to the storms that have become our lives.
But I promise I won't let this get to you.
Don't be scared i'll hold you close.
We'll embrace this change even if it's not what we want.
Because like this all things will end someday.
So just stay with me as this blue sky turns black.
As our peace turns to chaos i'll protect you.
I'll wipe your tears as they join the flood that has filled this once dry plain
But the worst is over so take my hand as the black fades to gray.
I'll take you home back to the days of blue skies and grassy plains.
When all this is over is when the time will come for me to say goodbye.
But i'll see you again someday.

"Never apologize for your work. If it's the best you can do, there's nothing to be sorry about and if it's not, you shouldn't be exposing anyone else to it in the first place." –Brian Austin Whitney
