You shine bright on this night as we walk on the beach
i match my pace with yours as your hair catches in the wind
you sing as we stroll on the expuisite sand
as the tide slows we advance in the fading light
toward the pier where it all began
because when we're on this pier all time stands still
with your body close to mine
we'll sit and watch the waves rolll in
i'll clasp your hand firm in mine
as the moon shines bright
three words you've been waiting for
shall be parted from me to you
and as the wind picks up i'll hold closer to me
just stay with me as i gaze into your loving eyes
time stays frozen as i graze my fingertips across your cheek
if only this night would last forever
but would forever even be enough...
