this was actually written by freestyling (freestyle rhyming) over a beat.. I used to play some "pass the mic" with some freinds, (where one person starts by freestyle rhyming and then passes the mic to the next guy to pick up the gauntlet that has been thrown down...) also known as "battling" I would LOVE to know what anyone thinks...
Freestyle Solo (was supposed to be a battle) (C) Kenneth Cade, 2009 ALL RIGHTS REVERSED
beat stomps my feet just like in the cold nights on the street air blows my breath express words underneath meaning injected in the spaces between... the lines the rhyme finds a way to combine the time entwines, the designs draw my mind into patterns that splatter the grey matter of to the maddest of hatters who find themeselves aligned on the other side of the line I draw in this quicksand on the stage if you can turn the page then get paid if you c'aint, stand down surrender before I end ya' another pretender over extended, your trend was expendable, my mechanical mandible... chew you up like a cannible spit you out so I can trample ya where I stand mic in my hand and tryin ta hand it t' ya you tryin t' take it but you can't no way to fake not given a damn man why don't take time to regroup and replan don't come back til you understand I am the man.....
this was supposed to be a battle put you back in the saddle and ride you like a biker you'll never decipher my words are your prison and you are a lifer what do think I take an eye for an eye for, leave you wonder why your... caught in between while I keep on droppin more can't be prepared for what I got in store for ya,....
I got the mic again my might is frightenin' freestyle excitin' damn I the enlightened man that voice inside your head pumped through p.a. instead cross fades from right to left the truth lies in the lies you guess who's side am I on then i got the right to be wrong my freind no love lost between me and them above all I alone stand in the end
