Those of you who have pineyfested...may remember Steve Goodie and his studio tour. Steve is a children's performer... who is a bit wild and crazy...He wanted to know if I wanted this done up sweet or ...crazy..... and I chose crazy. He says...He'd like to have one done up sweet with ...uh me singing...but I've bulked so far. Comments or criticism(s) appreciated. Comparison..piano piece is right below it...for a lighter version....your thoughts please. Hi Kaley,
What a riot! Kids of all ages will just love this. The background sound effects are perfect. "Sue twirled her tail...Tiny flapped his big ears" I can just see it. Great fun.

Hi Kaley,
That was so much fun. I swear I had flashbacks of Sesame Street. Is that show still on lol? If it is, this is the perfect place for this sweet fun song.
Thanks for posting it, Letha

Kaley,
This is really cute! It's funny, my three year-old stomps wherever she goes. I can just see a whole room full of little kids inspired to "waltz" along with this. I liked the piano only version too.

LOL - that was great, Kaley. Sounds like me on the dance floor. The out of time thumps are hilarious. And the music DOES call to mind an elephant moving. Well done! Scott

How cute! This is a great little song for all of us with lead feet, not just the little ones. I enjoyed it, thanks for the smiles.

Hi Letha...Glad it was fun for you and thanks for telling me. My Mother never would have named me Grace....because...I can relate to this couple . Sesame Street? Boy...I sure thought it was..But I haven't run across it on tv...in a long time...so I don't know. ... Actually...I was in touch with them awhile back...and had correspondence back and forth with a gal. But Like Disney, it's a beautiful dream at this point... Just hard to get your material in. Thanks for letting me know you liked this....Letha... very best... Kaley

Kaley, I agree with what them other guys said. This is precious. Very captivating imagery. And the out-of-time thumping is a gut-buster. It's hard to listen to this without laughing.
I don't know if Sesame Street is still in business since Jim Henson died. I haven't seen any new Muppeting, child or adult, in a long time.

I would love to know every sound effect he used to make the demo! LOL! Did I hear a basketball bouncing? This is too cute. I think you should sing it, Kaley. DON'T BALK!!!
"Grits is one of those country-boy words that is both singular and plural-like deer, elk and sheep. I think the singular is appropriate when there's a modifier that makes it clear one is talking about something specific. Like, 'Grits are good for you, but these here grits is tasty.'"~~Joe Wrabek

Sesame street is still around. My kid watches it almost every day. Snoop Dog is a frequent guest, so I don't think they are all reruns.

Kaley,
This is wonderful. Is there any young kid in the world who wouldn't enjoy this? I doubt it. The sound effects are the perfect topping for the this treat. You are so darned good at this type of music. And ya know, that old Carmudgeon, Wy, ain't too shabby, either. But, this is just perfect. Way to go!

Joe..I think..it was You..who suggested me asking for some tuba sounds...and other sound effects... I had originally posted the piano..only with lyrics back in 06...and rings a bell it was you....So..thank you....and if not? Still thanks. Precious..I like that for this...and you know my 20 year old laughs when he hears this too...Tells me he's not sure he likes the song..but laughs.... very best... Kaley

I appreciate your taking the time to listen.... I'm falling way behind on all that...and need to come in tonight and catch up!!... My lyrical side...only comes and goes...it's not near as consistent...but this past week has almost been like I was when I began writing here at jpf......and I'm thrilled..and I'm taking time to listen to it and write while the words are flowing. I'm super glad this made you all laugh!!...I was hoping so much it would!!... big wintery hugs to you all........... Kaley

Oooohhh...Kaley-girl...what FUN this turned out to be!! Of course I remember Steve. He is definitely a hoot. Love his sound effects in this. I can just imagine him getting into it. The result is just delightfully wacky and so kid-friendly. I also love the sweet piano version...but I hafta say I think kids will like the crazy version best. Hugs, Bobbie PS...I can relate to this too. Three left feet. LOL
