Hi! I made this small melody: http://soundclick.com/share?songid=6934588Are there anyone in here who would like to give it a try on some lyrics?? This is a verse and a chorous. If you think it needs a bridge etc. it's up to you, and I don't mind at all if you work a little on the syllables :-) I'm a member of the Danish Country Band; Lonerock. You can check us out here: http://www.lonerock.dkLooking forward to hear from you. Thanks! Best wishes Frank Jensen, Denmark

hey i like this alot, i would make a few small melody changes if it were me, probably just because of the direction i'm writing to this on(up a little more at the end of line 2,etc.)...try this for a verse and chorus, i just had a few minutes at work to try this out, i'll finish it (and fix it as it really was done a bit hastily)later if you like... write great, be well...moker
A Fortunate Man
v.1: I am alive, I feel it when I am near you make no mistake, there's nothing I wouldn't do and when you smile, feels like i'm walkin' on air souls open wide, love takes us there
Chorus: All that's inside, feels new the more I see you, the higher I fly dreams are alive, when you're here call me what I am, a Fortunate Man

Hey Frank, you or someone else from Lonerock, sent me an email a few weeks ago, I replied and haven't heard from you again.

Here Ya Go Frank.. try these... sings real good to your melody.
she faces the east waits for the sunrise to come again. she's waited all night alone with her memories. soon he will come, she remembers a promise was spoken. at mornings first light she will whisper his name.
and oh how they'll dance in the sunlight two hearts will beat, as one again sometimes the night, takes forever oh how they'll dance , once again
it's been so long, seems like eternity's passed her by so many years, have passed since she's felt alive I'll be home soon, when the sun rises over the mountain she recalls his words, as she trys not to cry
and oh how they'll dance in the sunlight two hearts will beat, as one again sometimes the night, takes forever oh how they'll dance , once again

Standing here nervous train pulling into the station, Awkward and waiting heart pounding loud in my ears, It’s been forever since I last saw you or held you, All of a sudden the moment is here.
And I can’t breathe, though I’m tryin, But I can’t believe what I see, Feels like a dream with angel eyes smilin’,/Feels like a dream but this time it isn't Your angel eyes smilin’ at me.

Hi Frank: Welcome to JPF! I really liked the tune. Looks like you have plenty of lyrics... but, in case you have not found what you believe the song needs... I'll be happy to take a crack at it. Just send me a PM so we can arrange a method for sending MP3 files back and forth. Regardless... best of luck. Dave Rice http://www.showcaseyourmusic.com/DaveRice

Hi Frank,
I loved your melody, and thought I would contribute a general idea, they are not perfect. I sang them in harmony all they way through and they are close to working. If you like them, give it a try.
Making A Living
Workin all hours just tryin to make us a livin they say hey it's life ain't no free rides ever givin
Days are so long but time passes by like a freight train it only comes once, then it's gone
Time passes by, just makin a livin wake up one day, children grown Life passes by, just makin a livin blink of an eye, train gone
Few little phrasing things would have to be adjusted but it would be pretty
Good luck
Letha

Hi! Thank you all so much for sending me your lyrics. I'm really grateful that you took the time. Actually I've recieved a lot more, than I expected - guess that shows that this forum works :-) I'm so happy that I found a co-writer in here on this song. Thank you. Frank, Denmark

Hi Frank,
Would you be interested to put music to my country lyrics? I have posted my lyrics called "DUI of Love". Please look it up under my name ( Camiar ).
Look forward to hear from you.
