Ohhhhhhh, I love those other blue ones, Tom. Gotta love a man who isn't afraid of a little color. smile

The ones in the front, of course are true Blue Suede Shoes. Any real musician should have a pair. smile

25 years ago, I had a pair of saddle shoes (yeah, like what high school cheerleaders wear). And like what golfers wear now, but it took 3 years of hunting to finally find them in my size. THEY WERE THE BEST, and super comfortable.

Right now, since there's such an online hatred towards Crocs, I just had to get me a pair. I wear them the most around the house now, they are incredibly comfortable too. AND they come in a plethora of exciting colors...

I have this thing for brown loafers, Tom. I do have one pair of purple heels that I bought to match the dress I wore to my sister's wedding many moons ago. I have worn them (with that dress) several times. Each time I wear them, I need to have both legs amputated afterwards.

I will no longer feel embarrassed about my red tennis shoes. I'll just tell people I know a guy who has boots made out of blue snakes (or whatever those were).

I have a thing for comfort. I'll bet your brown loafers fall into that category! If I don't enjoy wearing them, why keep them? So the blue suede shoes will likely be the next to go. They just don't offer my flat feet any support. All the others, believe it or not, are very comfortable.

Maybe we should sell the uncomfortable ones on Ebay, Tom. Hey, you know what would be cool? To twist Heidi's arm for photos of her boot collection!!! OMG! Don't you know we'd be gaa gaa over them?

Hey Unc,
David Lindley stopped a concert recently to point out me clothes! He and Wally Ingram were going on about my shirt, then they saw the shoes. I wish I had a camera that day - we looked like brothers. wink

Tom, if you're into comfort, you need some of these:
http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/links/link.jsp?id=0030561823343a&type=product&cmCat=SEARCH_all&returnPage=search-results1.jsp&Ntt=vacation+shoes+for+men&Ntk=Products_liberal&sort=all&_D%3AhasJS=+&N=0&_D%3Asort=+&Nty=1&hasJS=true&_DARGS=%2Fcabelas%2Fen%2Fcommon%2Fsearch%2Fsearch-box.jsp.form1&_dyncharset=ISO-8859-1

I bought a women's version at Cabela's in Rapid City, SD-they're basically the same shoe but $10.00 more in the women's version. Go figure!! They're lightweight and SO comfy.

Thank you Tom...for this DELIGHTFUL wink grin trip into your shoe closet...I think you do a pretty good job lining them up neatly too.(better than me)..I'm particularly fond of those red and white ones...and think you ought to share a bit of FOOTAGE...with a picture of you wearing them!!....though I do like the current green ones...too... Are the socks lime green too?

curious minds want to know in Pennsylvania....
best to you..and pooches...(by the way your Bernese(s) are lovely).....

best....

I affectionately refer to the red and whites as my BOZO shoes.
And yes, I found matching lime green socks for the green shoes and turquoise socks when I wear the turquoise ones.
Thanks for noticing!
We just got back from the vets for the next Sweat Pea bandage change, and to give 2 of 3 Bernese their Rabies shots. Things are always busy 'round here!

Joe, you're so funny. Just read your shout, too!

Tom, I know these are going to make you drool and want purple shoes of your own. Now, I know what you're thinking. You're thinking how can cute shoes like THIS, do THAT much damage. Let me assure you.........they're lethal weapons when it comes to feet/leg mangling. Trust me. grin I think I'd had too much Jack Daniels the last time I wore these and that's why they're scratched up..........because I'd never mistreat my shoes this way, otherwise.

To the podiatrist, of course! wink Then, right back to New Balance tennis shoes and brown loafers.

Tricia, I got rid of the shoes that wanted to take me to the podiatrist. You should do the same. I learned early on as a child watching science fiction movies to stay away from Pod People.

I wouldn't mind a pair of loafers I could click and end up in the hammock. I wouldn't care what color they were.

I like the tall ones next to the turquoise sneakers. After that I like the dusty black ones and after that I like the slippers. smile However, I would enjoy seeing the bright ones on other people. smile Oh wait. I think I would wear the black and white checkered looking ones. Those are pretty cool. Hmmm.

Tricia can keep those ball of the foot busters though. Ouch. The do look cute though. smile

Yeah right, Jean. I'll do a pic of the socks, then you'll wanna see my trousers, then what's next?? I'll only go so far...

Thanks for checking the pic out. The hightop ones are what I wear with the kilt.

Shoe update - Another pair arrived last night. I thought they were sort of an orange tint based on the photo on ebay. I thought orange would be a great shade for autumn, and I didn't have anything in that color range anyway. I was kind of surprised to open the box and find that the new Cayman Crocs where a color they call "Pulse" - not a subdued shade, but a flourescent orange. I can be seen for miles!

I'll only wear the kilt if I can be photographed WITH Heidi's Warrior Girl - then no one will be checking out MY legs. smile

LOL! Those purple shoes of mine do not look that scratched up in person. I promise. smile I should donate them to a good cause, though. Joe's right.
