You're most likely right Nigel. I was trying to remember it in my head without researching and it's been so long since I heard that song. But either one or two, they're still not allowed.

Old bluegrass tune. A little vague, but hey...it's in my iTunes library.

Oh, how could I have forgotten "The Wreck of the Old 97." One of the hokiest (and most anti-feminist) bluegrass songs ever written. I liked to use it as an example when I taught writing seminars.

It's by that old fellow Traditional, but the version I like to perform has an additional verse written by Johnny Cash, and one by me.

(But I AM kinda Proud for having the only Title with the Number "26" in it...& "Door 26" is all about "Dr Seuss"..a Fellow Writer..overcoming CONSIDERABLE Rejection..on his Quest to get Published.) &...I think Randy Travis' "3 Wooden Crosses" and Johnny Cash's "5 Feet High & Risin'" are Classic-Enough they fer-sure belong on Da List~

Stan, this is Beth's deal, I only took the list she had on the original post and put it into order and sent it to her in a PM. I was not going through the posts to update all the entries. I think I found your post you mentioned, and it contains a large list of items, many of which are not songs so she may have excluded those. I am not sure about the rest of it. I did not post the list, so I cannot update it.
