It was a blast the past two years. I don't know if I'll make it this year, though, due to a family situation. I'll try to.

Hey Folks, Thanks for the RSVP's to date... Mike is still trying to get the heads up on how many burgers he needs, so we are bumping this post up. He's got deer burgers...loads of hog burgers, and Jules...a few sausages for you.
Not sure about making it to the showcase, supposed to shampoo the carpets that day. I'm sorry to miss what Cindy has to say. Thanks.

Goody wrote, "three old guys... I LIKE THAT!!! lol" Thanks, Goody. I was going to use "Old Fat Guys" to tie back to my song, but Stephens and McKee are too lean. It would be an unfair characterization of them. They can't take umbrage at three old guys though...it's an apt description of the three of us :-) Getting grayer by the minute - Mike http://www.myspace.com/threeoldguys![[Linked Image]](http://i84.photobucket.com/albums/k35/mlworrall/swmlogo4_sm2.jpg)

Goody -
For a summary of what Cindy covered, see the Showcase thread. I just posted my recollections there. Sorry you missed it. But I think I covered the gist of it.

WOW... The RSVP's have really popped in this week. This is very exciting. Over 100 so far. Mike picks up the freshly ground meat tomorrow and it's a "patty-making party" all afternoon with Doug Purcell. David Lee Maxwell is outside with Mike right now putting up the food tents. The rest of the tents go up tomorrow. Sunday AM is running to get all the ice from my store for the coolers. Remember, we'll have COFFEE and some water & soft drinks. (For the hard stuff, your on your own.) See ya'll Sunday!

Hi Ms. Goody, I'm sorry we can't make it today....my daughter Sierra's birthday was this past week on Wednesday, and we agreed that we'd wait til the weekend to take her out to dinner and do some stuff with her and for her. But she came down with a cold and we were unable to do it on Friday night as planned so we are hoping to do it today.
Anyway, you guys have a wonderful day!!! It sounds like alot of fun with good food, good friends and good music. IF for any reason we are able to drop on by later on, we sure will.
All the Best, Cindy and Frank

It was a blast! Mike & his assistant chef brother did the cooking and most people brought side dishes. The food, the music, the weather, and a verty attentive audience plus some ace performer's made this an exceptional afternoon. Thank you Mike,Ms.Goody and everyone else that made this such a success.

As always, it was an exceptional afternoon. I'm so glad we were included and could be there. Thanks so much for all your hard work and support for this music! And, your harmonies behind Carl & Barbara, not to mention your own set (particularly Ring of Fire) were simply awesome. Mike's food was the best!

A big thank you to each of you for sharing our day & our home. It was great of all of you to sing, play & give of your talents for all to hear. Mike just wants to know that you had enough to eat. Jerry- I like the softer style with your voice! Ya did Good! Tell your mom hi and it was good to see her again.
Mike- yeppers, a heck of an afternoon. I guess you need to work at playing guitar & mando at the same time for those mando solos, eh (lol) We really enjoyed your songs too. Old Fat guys is a hit!
Don- Yep, you are our most prolific songwriter. Great stuff that memories are made of. Many thanks to you & Carol for your help and I DIG THE FRIENDSHIP BRACELET!
Papos- Thank you for making it over. Next time let us know if you have a time crunch issue. I felt bad you weren't able to play. Next time will be different.
Jak- Got here early, stayed late, you put in a full day too...(didn't need no stinkin' luudes, man!)Thanks! Good to see you here, Great songs.
Whew, I'm almost falling asleep sitting here.......
Steve Dockendorf- Hey how did it go at Arts Alive tonight? Thanks for the tunes. We all liked them.
Jules- You'v got the smoothest voice... How's them Brats???? Thank you & it was nice that your family was here with you, I apologize that I didn't get over to your wife & say hi, but then again, that happened with many people.
Doug- What a great surprize & treat that you & Judy made it over. I believe all 6 CD's sold and the funds are going towrds the show. It was a very, VERY, V E R Y, generous thing to do. (For those that weren't there... Doug told the crowd that he had CDs for sale for a donation that went to Mellow Melodies. That was way to cool! Thank you very much
My eyes aren;t staying open, so I'll finish this post tomorrow. Gnight, Luv Ya ALL!

Wow! What a day! I was honored to participate in this young Tampa Bay tradition. The talent was extraordinary. The food, the guests . . . it's all been said before, but worth repeating. I enjoyed it all and wished I hadn't committed myself elsewhere for the evening.
Goody, to answer your question, tonight's Arts Alive gathering was the best I've seen in all the times I've attended. And I was there starting at the beginning, nearly three years ago. I normally tell people that I like all kinds of music except opera and rap. Well, to give you a hint of the level of talent, there was a rap artist and a lady who sang opera. And both were magnificent. Also Papos came and performed. I always admire his picking and his smooth voice; it's a shame the timing didn't work out for him in Gulfport, but in Clearwater he was very well received. I just wish time could have been stretched out for me to encompass all of both events.
Thanks again for your labor of love. We truly have been blessed with our friends and their exquisite talent.
P.S. You and "Uncle" Carl and "Aunt" Barbara really did sound like family.

The show that's on the site right now is full of musicians from last year's Bash. This Thursday's edition will be musicians from THIS year's Bash. So if you have any special songs that I might not have, get 'em in to me by tomorrow night please.
