For our showcase photos, I used the following setup: - Pentax K10D with 135mm/F2.8
- Pentax K110D with 50mm/F1.7
All of the photos were shot at F2.8 and 800 ISO. The shutter speed was between 1/20-1/30 of a second, depending on which direction I was shooting from (brighter on the one side). There were a couple wide angle pictures I used the kit lens for (18mm/F3.5 at 1/5-1/10 sec), and a couple others at the beginning using flash (before the lights were turned on.) Matt Brown

Did you do any color correction or are they as taken? The colors are quite vivid.

Hello again Brian, No correction was done on a computer, although I've been experimenting more with the camera's internal settings depending on the conditions (contrast, saturation, and sharpness). For the showcase, I had the contrast at -1 and sharpness at +1. Saturation was set at 0 (default). Lately I've been shooting with the saturation set to +1, but the colors were too strong the other night. Stu Shapiro came to our rescue and set up lights right before we started. He did a great job, but trying to capture the same feeling as if you were there is not always easy. Setting the white balance can be a challenge with colored lights. They are normally Tungsten, but occasionally can be closer to daylight. Custom white balance can help as auto white balance doesn't always get it right. Blue usually looks bad on faces, and red easily burns out and you lose detail. Things you don't really think much about if you aren't the one taking pictures. Matt

Very nice! Maybe you could edit and add names to the pictures so we can put some faces to the names.

We're going to be adding a photo gallery feature which will be perfect going forward for showcase photos!
