One of Delaware's Radio stations, WSTW, played "Famous" and congratulated us on our "Homey Award win"! Talked up our concert for Feb 9th as well! So now...we're the: "Award winning band Too Little Time!" Said they'll feature the different category winners next week as well. http://www.soundclick.com/bands/default.cfm?bandID=531431&content=musicWhat we won for, you say? We won for best band over fifty! Ha! Success is relative though, right?! John

That’s “Best Rock and Roll Band over 50” as voted by the listeners, thank you very much.
Airplay on a rock and roll station broadcasting to 5 states and listener recognition. Yeap take it!

http://www.soundclick.com/bands/default.cfm?bandID=531431&content=musicEmily, Thanks. That category,,,,yeah, funny, huh? BUT, the target listeners for that Current hit rock/pop station are 16 to 25. I would like to see how we'd do with any age band. (just as long as they don't see us)! Brian,,,,did you really?! Do you know of that station? Iggy keeps telling me they are huge, and don't play just anything, even in the hometown part of their programing. Thanks either way! Sub produced the song. I had an idea of how it could be, then saw how Sub was so passionate about the session, and just went with him. He came up with the false ending, which then leads to the ending jamming section that we at first just went into. He created the dynamics for that, as a good producer would do for a song and band. Funny too, was how I had all these specific backing vocal sheets nicely typed out for him, and I and others were doing the parts. At one point, he didn't know the system of how I had everything, and he said, "Here's what we're going yo do with these sheets"! And with that, he held them up high so I could see them through the control room window and ripped them to shreds! I swallowed hard, said nothing,,,,,then realized he didn't need any stinkin instructions! He was great! Tom,,,,,whoa,,,,where'd your hair go?! Thanks, and see ya at da show! Bring your smile. Drive safely too. We'll hold the show for ya,,,,well, maybe if it's not too long!

Hey Buddy, This was so awesome! You have to remember to post links. Your music & your band was on the radio!! Put up the link here and on the mp3 boards..... There is nothing more special then hearing yourself over the airwaves... A dream really. It sounded great, although like I always say don't over compress before you give it to the radio cause they compressed the hell out of things When I hear the sound of our work coming through like that with radio talk mixed in it just brings joy to my heart. I was very very proud to hear this. It felt great. Still sorry about ripping up your vocal sheets in the control room. I should have brought them into the main room with a lighter and burned them instead... HA! LOL Love ya bro!

http://www.soundclick.com/bands/default.cfm?bandID=531431&content=musicAhhhh Man,,,,I am ROTFLMA Off! Too late to type the whole thing out.....although by explaining that, I could have! Man,,,that is funny Mike! I can picture you actually doing that too! My face is hurting now from smiling so wide! YOU should feel proud, as you poured your heart and soul into that song, as you did with everything else I have been there to see you produce. What a gift it is to know you in person. Most folks here have NO idea what you are like,,(maybe a good thing?! Ha! No,,,they are missing out on something and somebody special, in all areas. Yes, I'll put the radio MP3 up soon. Thanks!! for everything! Ha ha ha!!!! That burning joke thing just hit me again!

Can't wait for Saturday! hey - I just realized - I would have ruined your chances for winning the "over 50" category. You would have had to wait another two years. :-P

Haaa!!! Good one Bob! One of us even turned 60 this past week! 55 and up "baby"!
Thanks Jim and Everett!
It went great tonight. Well,,,we'll hear from bass2x and Tom Tracy about all that. But I'm sure we had good sound at least, (the soundman) and good people!
Seats filled and people standing around the perimeter.
That's what we were hoping for. Friends, family, friends of friends, and some walk ins to enjoy music with us.
Another success!
John
