The Erie Canal Discovery Center, which is part of the Niagara County Historical Society located in Lockport New York, is sponsoring a song contest for songs about the Erie Canal or the Locks on the canal. For more information please go to the events section of this link www.niagarahistory.org The contest is being held to coincide with the opening of the canal season and "the Key to the Locks" ceremony in the beginning of May.
