It's all Bob Young's fault - he started it with his rock and roll picture. See if you can guess the common sayings illustrated by the photos below. Here is an example: ![[Linked Image]](http://i170.photobucket.com/albums/u263/scott59_photos/ear.jpg) It is, of course, "In one ear and out the other"..... Okay here we go: 1. ![[Linked Image]](http://i170.photobucket.com/albums/u263/scott59_photos/duck.jpg) 2. ![[Linked Image]](http://i170.photobucket.com/albums/u263/scott59_photos/hero.jpg) 3. ![[Linked Image]](http://i170.photobucket.com/albums/u263/scott59_photos/ringer.jpg) 4. ![[Linked Image]](http://i170.photobucket.com/albums/u263/scott59_photos/hares.jpg) 5. ![[Linked Image]](http://i170.photobucket.com/albums/u263/scott59_photos/jump.jpg) 6. ![[Linked Image]](http://i170.photobucket.com/albums/u263/scott59_photos/gun.jpg) 7. ![[Linked Image]](http://i170.photobucket.com/albums/u263/scott59_photos/eyes.jpg) 8.

It's too early in the am. LOL! You're so crazy, Scott.
#4: The rabbit dies?
#7: The eyes have it?
#9: Beer and Bratworst?

Good job on #7, Tricia! Yes, "The ayes (eyes) have it" Your answer to 4 would be a good one except there are two rabbits - I should have done that one too As for #9, there is no beer in the mug Scott

Not a bad answer, Anthony. But maybe not the *best* one. Why the rabbits? Scott

Hey Kaika: Nice job on 4 and 8! I really thought 8 would go last Your answers to the rest are pretty good. In particular, the answer to 5 is not what I had in mind but it fits.... Your answer to #2 fits pretty well. Harriet's is what I had in mind Your answer to #1 is not bad but I think there is a better one Scott

Great job Heidi! Three for three! Yes, Son of a Gun, Dead Ringer and Lame Duck. Only one left at this point - #5. And "Charged an arm and a leg" was a great answer for that. Maybe better than the one I had Scott

Hey Scott, Wow. I didn't even realize that #5 wasn't "charged an arm and a leg." That is a really good one. Other than "dead battery" it's hard for me to see anything else off the bat. These are so much fun and so very clever. Thanks again for the creative thread.

Thanks for playing everyone To summarize: 1. Lame Duck 2. Hero Sandwich 3. Dead Ringer 4. Splitting Hairs (hares) 6. Son of a Gun 7. The ayes (eyes) have it 8. Frankenstein (Frank and Stein) As for number 5: "Charged an arm and a leg" or, as I intended, uhhh, ahem, err, "Jump Your Bones" Scott

OMG Until I saw the guess of Charging an arm and a leg... I had thought the answer was jump your bones. But later thought...well um..er... and sure wasn't feeling confident enough to say it LOL

OK, maybe that one was a little bit in poor taste - would like to blame it on my wife (who shot half of these) but I can't. She DID egg me on though We used to present these to rooms full of people and ask them to guess out loud. No one ever guessed this one - maybe they were just afraid to say it. But it always got a pretty big laugh when it was revealed..... With digital cameras, it's pretty quick to go from the idea stage to a pic - so if any of you have a great idea for a photopun, post it here!

Scott, "Jump my bones" was not in bad taste....just a bit off the beaten path. Maybe you can try a photo of a cat and whip together? Ooooooops. Now, that was definitely in bad taste! Maybe one chicken pecking the other might better say the same thing?
I'll quit while I'm ahead. (Okay, now I see just a head stopping before a finish line....) I'm a sick puppy! (Wow, now I see a stuffed puppy with a thermometer in his mouth) This madness has got to stop! Best to leave this type of thing up to you!

Scott, I'm the type, who, when you open the refrigerator door and the light comes on...I do five minutes!
Are you near Ocala, Florida? I'm doing a show there this Wednesday night at a place called, "The Villages." It's a classy retirement village with a great theater. My husband and his partner are also performing with me. Let me know. You're probably too far away, but I thought I'd ask.

Lessee....you're a better photographer than me...you're much more clever than I am...hmmmmmm...I better not find out you're a better guitar player..if that's the case I'm gonna come to your house late at night and beat the living Hell out of you!
Unless, of course, you're a friggin' Black Belt too.....

LOL, Bob - I'm hardly clever. I just get a few like-minded friends together and a case of beer. The ideas start coming pretty quickly after the third one or so If I was still in Chicago, I'd take you up on those guitar lessons. Can't play a barre chord but I know how to buy donuts Thanks, man - looking forward to seeing some more of yours... Scott
