I enjoyed listening to this. As for your question, according to Brian, our founder, all of the winners have been selected and notified.
I don't know if you were looking for any kind of critique of this but the melody and that one suprising high "lift" is right up the alley of AI but the hook in my opinion was repeated too much.

Really nice voice! The recording was really enjoyable to listen to. I have to agree that the hook is repeated too much. It started to lose its emotional impact. When it started appearing in the verse after the first chorus it really felt like too much.
Musically, it's enjoyable to listen to. Your voice is great! I think the lyric could use some work, though.

P.S. LOVED "Undeniable"! Only nitpick there was that I couldn't understand the word "undeniable" in the first chorus until I double-checked the lyrics. Wow, though... powerful song! Superb! And the lyric was very powerful. (Sorry to piggyback on this song but I wanted to let you know I really loved it.)

I listened to all the songs on your site. "Finest Hour" is a good song, and I enjoyed the production and vocals there too, but "Undeniable" is undeniably the best of the four. I liked the other two rockers out there too. Great vocals. Rock is about the hardest genre to sing IMO and you're nailing it whether you're going uptempo or ballad. Incredible voice!!! Keep up the good work! Sorry to hear the top 20 didn't include you (you'd have heard by now... I assume), but I think you definitely deserve to rise to the top. You SHOULD be able to do it WITHOUT American Idol too, IMHO. Best of luck as you work on your career! Linda

Thanks for the honest comments. I've been told by a few about the "Undeniable" unounciation. Maybe it should be titled 'Undefinable" take care,

There is an interesting discussion going on in the General forum board about the AI sonwriter contest. This is a better than average song and it fits the AI guidelines pretty well. The hook I think needs a complementary rhyming line.. It would be a whole lot more interesting if after you said, "This is your finest hour", instead of repeating it, you sang something to complement it. There is not a lot of words that rhyme with hour. "I can't make you love me" by Bonnie Raite uses the word "power" to rhyme with "hour" and as great as that song is, it still sounds a little forced. But I think you need to do something besides repeat the line. well you can polish it up and resubmit next year. I guess there is some kind of law suit going over the contest. Some folks claim the song were not even listened to.
By the way, the site to hear the songs is songwriter.americanidol.com
I assume you know the songs have been selected by now. I have listened to all of them and I have a pretty good idea what the top 3 will be. The are all very good.
