Doesn't seem like anything is happening with trying to get just the JFP folks together for anything, so I am inviting all of you to take a look at The Georgia Music Industry Assoc. (GMIA).. www.gmia.org I am a board member and we have lots of events planned for this year. This organization is regrouping with new board members and new ideas and plans. GMIA does have a long history though. If I can answer any questions, please feel free to contact me: squattlebaum@gmia.org The way I look at it is, whether you are JPF members or GMIA members or BOTH.. we/you just need to be involved and to get your music heard as much as you can through whatever means and also to support your fellow songwriters, musicians, and artists. Thanks for continuing to post GMIA events on this board! As newly appointed moderator of Southeast Chapter board, and a longtime resident artist of Atlanta (Decatur) I will do what I can to help out. The upcoming events in August look fun, are they open to the public?
