Played a gig last night as a co-headliner. First one in over a year & a half - other than a small setting last December. While the venue was intimate, I still managed to find a few butterflies. But in the end, it felt great to be out playing live again & even selling a few cd's afterward. Always a good thing!  If I could just get this silly masters degree work out of the way, I could once again focus on my true passion - making music!  Meanwhile, I'll have to settle for a few measly breadcrumbs for awhile longer. It was just real nice to be reminded that there is indeed a life beyond the mundane. Playing live is a good thing! Jeff

Amen! Good for you Jeff! Now, when are you coming back to L.A.? Uncle Chuck You tempt me with such banter Uncle Chuck! I love LA! If I knew I could get an audience where I play, I'd go in a heartbeat. I see you're playing C&D's next month. While I enjoyed playing there last year, as a non-local I didn't pack 'em in, to say the least.  After hauling all that gear, I'd want to have a better assurance next time. Maybe we'll just have to swap gigs! Jeff

LoL! Yeah. I was reminded on another board today what a gift it is to go after it, so I think that was a good thing for me to hear. Unfortunately, I seem to be pushing the deadline back further than I had anticipated and that is a tough one to swallow. But, they do say that good things come to those . . . I'm just going to have to be patient & keep steady as she goes. urgh! Jeff
