Hey all, I'm a KY transplant that wound up in Florida (yes, I still root for our CATS). It's awfully quiet on this board, such a shame. Last time I checked there were lots of great musicians in Lextown. Well I'm swinging through the bluegrass next week and was wondering if there are any cool shows in town or anyone who wanted to jam. But, I get the distinct impression that I'm just shouting in the wind. Oh well, it's worth a shot.

And to whom it may concern... Lexington is not Mid-North! Kentucky is a Southern State by Gawd! We serve sweat tea, therefore we are Southern. Maybe this board would get more trafic if it was located in it's rightful place: The SouthEast

AM, I didn't realize shows on Friday at the Ky Theater. Dang it. Any particular genre or is the field wide open? Bubba, don't know how long you've been gator bait, but seems like Lex has been a metal-head town for the past number of years. Though, I have felt a shift in the winds in the last year or so. Of course, I think Michael Jonathan over at WoodSongs has been instrumental in bringing about some changes. Theres some real talent hidden away in the Central/Southern Bluegrass regions. It's ashame there are so few venues to play.

We're visiting Lexington on the summer Roadtrip but still no one has expressed interest. If we don't hear from someone soon we may just visit the Woodsongs Old Time Radio hour show and move on to WV.

I'm expressing interest.
As well, I'm familiar with a couple folks over at Woodsongs.
