Opening in the late fall ! The name will be," Waterloo Station", independently owned. I am a investor and incharge of live music. We would like to have 2 nites each week for performers.
Aside from the seasoned performers....I also want performers that may not be known yet...who are having a hard time getting booked...either because of, "gatekeepers", "they" don't know you, or your not a friend of a friend, etc... If you have good "coffee house" music....I'll let you play here....I'll give you a shot...I've been in your shoes !!
We will be a small coffee house and would like solo or duet performers. I'll keep you all informed as we get closer to opening.

Sounds like a lot of fun! Keep in touch and perhaps contact our LA and Orange County coordinators and let them know you're interested. Perhaps Jody and the gang could put together an old fashioned JPF Chapter showcase like we used to do out there all the time? I bet folks would be interested and it would be a great way to get folks out to see the venue. 25 seats may be a problem, but if it's a mob scene maybe that will get others interested too. It could also be a meeting place for a networking evening. What would happen if 50 people showed up?

Yea.....I would have liked a little more space....either spaces were too small or too big.....plus location is a factor etc....
This is our 1st Coffee house.......so it should be interesting for us all.
What if 50 people showed up??......Wow !!.....Mob at Waterloo Station......"News at 10"!
.....as the British would say, "stiff up lip and all that, you know"(speaking in a Brit accent).

We are getting set to open the doors !! Contractors drive me nuts !!.........they can't get their act together....but with that said, it looks like the finishing touches will be done this week then the health Dept. comes to O.K. us and we open !!!
I've got 4 performers for February so far.
Lets get the show on the road !!!!!!!!!!!!!

WE PASSED ALL INPECTIONS !!!!!!
We open the doors Feb. 6th Tues.!!!!!!!!
Friday Feb 9th our first live act.....FRANK WRIGHT, who has played and recorded with Chicago, Sonny and Cher, and many others. Frank owns a local recording studio (california sound studios in lake forest).
Saturday Feb 10th it, JOHN CARRILLO.....a member on this board here, a great singer and songwriter...love his new CD.
Performers play 7 to 9pm Fri / Sat.
