Noel, Just wanted to drop a line and say that we wish you all the best in 2007. Becky and I talk about you and Christine and our trip to Australia all the time. When we tell friends about our day trip up to Denman from Sydney to meet you and your Mrs. they always have so many questions about how we connected in the first place and of course I tell them JPF. We want to come back for a more extended trip and are talking about a month in 2009 with another couple so we can see more of your beautiful country. I am still very active at Back Stage Pass Internet Radio Broadcasting www.bspass.com and play a couple of your spoken word recordings from time to time. If you would like to send any new material my way or know any other artists with well produced material in any genre please don't hesitate to contact me. Hi Al and Becky Glad you enjoyed yourself. We are both fine, we had a most enjoyable time with you and Beck. I know you wanted to know more about the stone we gave you, it's called Agate its a semi precious gemstone and small bits like that although pretty are not very valuable. But it could be cut and set in to a nice piece of jewlery. Its still dry here and we are desperate for some rain, we are hopeful the drought will break this year (March/ April). I've written some stuff and working on recording a couple.. but nothing commercial. I did do this one all myself.. BIAB midi and my vocal recorded at home. http://www.soundclick.com/bands/pagemusic.cfm?bandID=643930but you need a sad sense of humour I still want to collab with you some time... I have an idea for two country POP lyrics one male (toby keith type) and one female. They just need the right kind of music. Look forward to seeing you both again. Take care Noel

Noel, Good to hear from you. I took a listen and it reminds me of the type of parody songs that songwriters send into radio stations right after a big social or political blunder that someone famous has been involved in. As entertaining as they might be unfortunately the shelf life is quite short much like the news story.Very witty though. We are in the tail end of winter here which means a dry spell also. We do not however, being semi city dwellers depend on the rains for our lively hood so our best wishes go out to you. Being ion Florida It's still jeans and a T-shirt with maybe a sweatshirt at night, very nice climate. Played a gig this past weekend with Doc Lovett from a local Rock band called The Mojo Gurus on lead acoustic and backing vocals, Jim Mason www.jimmasonproductions.com guitar and lead vocals and me on auxiliary percussion (congas, shaker tambourine etc)and backing vocals, lots-o-fun. Looks like we have a couple of gigs coming up soon so I'm playing out more. We all get to do solos also so I do get to break into guitar mode even a little harmonica. Colabs are definitely a possibility, it's just getting to them with a bust schedule I'm having to squeeze time for my radio show right now. Keep Strummin' Al www.bspass.comwww.aandrproductions.com
