Hi Folks,

We're considering visiting Europe in 2007 if my health holds up and we don't lose a lot of money on the awards this year. In prep (and as part of the fun build up) we've been watching DVD's called "Visions" of Italy, Greece and England (we still have France to watch). They're great aerial fly overs of the various towns and points of interest in each country. You may have seen them on PBS, but we got the DVD's to watch here at home. We're really looking forward to visiting as much as we can in the time we'll have (2-4 weeks depending on a lot of factors). So most likely we'll do Italy and France and if time allows, also visit the UK with a 1 or 2 day trip over to Athens. Have any of you visited any of those places? (We have members in all of them, but not many who visit the message boards).

On a football note, the 2006 Season kicks off pre-season tomorrow at the Hall of Fame game. I watched the inductions ceremony while I worked on stuff today and heard a great quote from Harry Carson, the HOF Giants linebacker. He was talking to his kids and when they'd ask for something he asked them if it was a "want" or a "need" and that if it was only a "want" then it wasn't something they really needed. How often would that help all of us make decisions. Think it over.. = )
