Hey York and Harrisburg, Mark here from the Pittsburgh chapter, how are ya? Brian is going to send a blanket email to the active PA people about contacting the chapter near them and hopefully spur them on to get involved. He wanted me to help coordinate this effort by contacting the other chapters in PA. Let's help get them involved..!! Thanks

I received an email from Brian that listed participants from the music awards. I did recognize some names. Hopefully these people will come forward and show some interest. I'm having a heckuva time getting the ball rolling here in York-Harrisburg.

Hey Guys,
Keep in mind that of that list, probably only a couple of those folks are even registered on the message board. The read the newsletter, go to roadtrip shows, enter the music awards, but they don't check in here and probably aren't much aware of the chaters. This is why we're been asking you guys to keep the message boards active so that as we get some of these folks to check in, they'll see there's a reason to come back and get involved. You can't just sit and expect them to appear. They won't.
This summer when we come through with the Roadtrip, that should be the time when your chapter can take off. You'll have 20-50 members in the room together and that's our chance to really launch the chapter. Until that time, we need to lay some ground work and also attract the portion of our members who may not perform at a roadtrip show to get involved. For example, as busy as our Lyric Boards here are, almost none of those folks ever come out for Roadtrip shows or chapter meetings in their towns. Maybe we can work to change that as well.
