Hi to my SEMA counterparts! It was so great to see you in Plymouth during the JPF Roadtrip. I'm copying you on my newsletter/gig schedule for July & August in the off chance that some of you can make it out to a show. We'll also be in your area the week of July 16th - 23rd on vacation....so maybe we can hook up! Send me your contact info (phone #s as I won't have computer access that week). My summer party is tentatively planned for August 13th or 14th. Please let me know how those dates look for you and I'll set the plans in stone once I hear back from folks. Take care and I look forward to seeing you soon! Lisa Martin Live Music - July/August 2005! Hi Everyone! A warm welcome (to go along with this heatwave) to all the new members of the mailing list! I hope you are all enjoying the summer thus far and that the weather will continue to be kind. June was a whirlwind, but we had a blast! 12 shows, 4 states, 1500 miles and lots of great music and memories. Special thanks to the Just Plain Folks organization for another successful East Coast roadtrip and to all the great musicians we met along the way. Check out photos, etc at www.jpfolks.com Heartfelt thanks also to those of you who took time out of your busy schedules to come out and support us. I'm participating in a contest at the Majestic Theater this month. Details are below. Come on out if you can. Your support is greatly appreciated :-) On a side note, I was informed by one of my listeners that "Set Me On Fire" was played on AOL radio at about 1:30am a couple of weeks ago! So if you find yourself having a sleepless night, tune in to AOL radio and maybe you'll catch one of my songs. I'd also like to thank Guy-Michael Grande and my wonderful percussionist, Brad Willard, for sharing an acoustic gig on the patio at the Storrowtown Tavern this past Saturday. It was a beautiful summer evening and the crowd and staff were terrific. Thanks to all for playing along with our antics and making the evening so much fun! We hope to play there again soon. Lots of great stuff coming up as well as a much needed vacation! Read on below for the schedule and hope to see you soon! Hi Lisa! In some respects, it seems like the road trip was forever ago, doesn't it?! lol It was a lot of fun and thanks so much for coming all the way out to Plymouth. I'm going to try to make that show you're playing in Onset on the 5th. And you're right, the views in Onset are beatiful, especially from that spot! I used to live in that neck of the woods and I must say, I miss it a lot. Enjoy your vacation ![[Linked Image]](http://www.justplainfolks.org/ubb/smile.gif) Kim

Hi Kim!
Please note the August 5th show in Onset has been cancelled! The booker never notified me that the series had been discontinued....thankfully I found out before showing up :-) I did book another show to replace it, but it's in Providence RI so that's probably too far to go for you. I did officially schedule the summer party for Sunday, August 14th! So hope to see you there. I didn't see an official notice on your board, so I'll post it separately. Christine said she would get a head count at your August 1st JPF chapter meeting and let me know......so maybe I'll just leave it in her capable hands :-)
Looking forward to seeing you soon!
Lisa
