Hey Folks, I have lot's of stuff going on right now and I think a meeting on Tuesday would help us get our thoughts together. I'd like to meet at the Dublin Pub in Morristown at 7:00PM for about an hour or so. There is a girl who bartends there that would like to get involved. I am hoping she will engineer at my studio in Madison, and she has lots of experience in promotion and publicity. I'd like to discuss: - having an open mic really soon - putting together our JPF tour stop in May - planning some other shows and discussing which bars to approach - working on more networking and getting to know eachother and our individual skills. - sharing the JPF mailing list so we can promote eachother's shows Lastly, my band, Busterman, is playing this Saturday, April 9th @ The Underpass in Elmwood Park with two other very successful indie bands - Boxcar Nancy and The Cucumbers. This would also be a great place for us to get together and network since there will be a couple promoters at the show. It's going to be a bit of a shmoozfest but it will be alot of fun too. My band goes on from 10-11 and then I'll be around to talk to people and introduce people.
