there have been some posts here about the superstar/ idol searches in Europe. they are doing a search here through the newspapers. Everyone who enters has to enter an original song and gets a number for fans to call to vote for them. Sounds much more interesting for musicians, plus a bit of exposure. Anything like that anywhere else? and if so has anyone participated? I am entering a song from us in the German contest. Wish us luck!

no it's just a contest put on by some of the newspapers, it's national but on a smaller scale and no serious contracts to sign.
