I'd just like to invite you to come see the great guitarist Phil Keaggy play next week at the Cactus Cafe in Austin. Phil will be sitting in with my band and we'll be playing songs from my album "The Sweet Soul Light" that he and I co-produced. Phil will also play a solo acoustic set. The Cactus Cafe is legendary--Bob Dylan and many other greats have played there. The sound and atmosphere are great. This is a rare opportunity to see Phil in a smallish venue (capacity 175), so get there early to ensure your seat. Tickets are only $8 at the door. Please come out and show your support for Phil in Austin! This concert is not to be missed. Monday, October 24th, 8:00 PM Cactus Cafe 2247 Guadalupe St (UT Campus) Austin, TX $8 at the door Thanks, Cheryl www.cherylbliss.com

"A lot of people will tell you that preparation is what will make you successful. But I think that people misunderstand exactly what that means sometimes. The type of preparation you need most is the kind that allows you to instantly seize an opportunity, change your course based on a momentary circumstance, and grab hold of the totally unexpected when it happens, and allow it to take you for the ride of your life! That is the kind of preparation that can lead to the most enjoyable type of success." -Brian Austin Whitney
