I'm in if it is Oct. 11 or 12, 18, or Nov. 1 or 2. The weekend of Oct. 24-26 is bad for most JPF people because the Buddy Klein festival in the Dade City area is that weekend. I'm in Clearwater and I could help you prepare. E-mail me and I can give you my phone number (I don't want the number posted to the world). ------------------ Stone Marmot www.stonemarmot.com www.cdbaby.com/stonemarmot

I like Nov 8th as well. I'm going to a jam at the Final Tribute(26th anniversary of Lynyrd Skynyrd's tragic plane crash) in Jacksonville on the 18th and 19th so October is pretty tied up. If anybody wants info on this great event, let me know. Maybe we can meet up with the JAX chapter of JPF if there is one...Q

Hey Barn, This is just a few miles from us -- we're in Largo. Let me take a look at our schedule and see if we can make it. (I have some irons in the fire and we might end up booked that weekend -- but if not it sounds like fun). Stay tuned! Cindy

great! yes nov 8th. i have a pa system . and will be getting a cover for the stage, (it's under shade trees right now,) one of those canvas with the poles kinda thingy will cover nicely. sure bring congas and any percussion. i stress acoustic only because of noise and music style. (don't want a drunken star spangeled banner). being the first time doin this we'll be playing by ear. i figure room for 25-30 people. parking may be an issue. but there is a parking lot 1/2 mile away and folks can carpool.start about 12 end round 6pm. don't want any problems assoc. with darkness. any ideas are very welcome. i look forward to meeting alot of my fellow jpf'ers. thanks for the intrest...barn. ------------------ www.barkinbarney.com

Andy! You go get 'em! Please be a speaker at the JPF meeting in January and let us all know about your TAXI experience. Actually being able to talk to someone who attends these things is very important to me and I'm sure many other members JPF members! Donna ------------------ http://donnaklein.com

November is a booked month for me. I have the TAXI Road Rally the first week and the entire latter half of the month I'll be doing my annual Thanksgiving pilgrimage to PA (with stops on the way up and back) to visit my parents and brothers. But I'm definitely willing to talk about my TAXI experience at a future JPF meeting. Speaking of TAXI, I was just notified yesterday that I had my first forward. An instrumental version of the song "Sensitivity," which is on our "Babes of an Alien Persuasion" CD, is under serious consideration as background music for a TV comedy show (they won't say which show). This is far from a sure thing, but at least I've got something through the first gate and some people in the industry are taking my songwriting, performing, and production efforts seriously. It also helps in the name recognition area. Wish me luck! ------------------ Stone Marmot www.stonemarmot.com www.cdbaby.com/stonemarmot

Very cool, Andy. All good thoughts going out to influence those in charge to "choose your song... choose your song... choose your song..." When one of us does well, we all do well. I know it's not a sure thing, but to be under consideration is a very important step! Congratulations! Donna ------------------ http://donnaklein.com

I'll be leaving on a jet plane that day for the great north. Ten days of freezing (for a 19 year Floridian) temps, relatives, and thankfully a visit to The City that still fuels my muse! Have fun and sing a song for me! Donna ------------------ http://donnaklein.com
